VGH Night of a Thousands Stars Video
Creating an animated video for the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation Gala is an honoured tradition. In 2016, the video to thank sponsors was themed “the future of surgery,” with an homage to the Jetsons TV show. We introduced the audience to Cosmos Gailforce (the real host, Chris Gailus), his space dog, Maestro, and the cappucino-dispensing robot surgeon. Over 800 gathered at the Vancouver Convention Centre, raising more than $3.5 million for robotic surgery technology.
